Owned Social Media Journeys

From Organic Post Engagement to Activation

This Journey helps you listen across your company’s LinkedIn presence-who’s liking, commenting, or reacting to your owned posts- and transform that engagement into actionable outreach. These are warm signals from people already aware of your brand.


🔍 STEP 1

Capture & Map Social Engagements

Connect your LinkedIn account to Tapistro via Trigify or other providers you have for social media signals. Tapistro captures engagement from your company’s LinkedIn posts- including likes, comments, shares, and reactions.

  • Extracts person-level identifiers from post engagement.

  • Enriches the person information to determine their account.

🛰️ STEP 2- Create a Source

For every Journey a Source is required to start the Journey. Here, you create the source basis the Journey use case you want to run in Tapistro.


Create a Source and give it a name. Provide an Origin Type value for the Source as Trigify.

  • This would be configured via a Trigify webhook connected to Tapistro.

🧠 Objective: Surface account-level interest from individual engagement patterns.


🛰️STEP 3- Create a Journey

  1. Log into Tapistro, go to the Journeys page, and select New Journey from the upper-right area.

  2. In the Journey Canvas, provide a relevant name for your journey.

  3. From the Type select Source Ingest.

  4. From the Source ID bar, select the source you want to work with i.e. the Trigify Social Media Source created in step 2.


🧠 Step 4: Source Discovery

Add another node, from the type select 'Source Discovery.' Name this step as 'Source Discovery'. No further configurations are needed in this step. This helps Tapistro store the signals and discover the information in them.


🧹Step 5: Filter & Match CRM Records

Run these signals through your CRM to:

  • Check against existing deals or customers.

  • Exclude competitors or internal employee activity.

🧠 Objective: Focus effort on ICP-aligned and net-new opportunity creation.


🧩 STEP 4

Conditional branching based on Social engagement


Using Tapistro, you can build conditional branches based on signal event types to segment social engagement at multiple levels — profile, account, and individual interactions (likes, comments, etc.). This allows you to run Person Discovery across different dimensions:

  • Profile level: Uncover who is engaging with you and understand their attributes.

  • Account level: Map engagement patterns back to the organization.

  • Engagement level: Drill down into specific actions like likes, comments, and shares.

Additionally, Tapistro enables you to track competitor-level engagement. Simply select which competitor’s activity you want to monitor, and you can create multiple journeys to follow multiple competitors in parallel.

🧠 Objective: Segment engaged persons, discover their profile and account-level details, and track how they engage across both your profile and your competitors’ profiles.


🧩 STEP 5

Enrich People & Accounts

Run enriched individual and account-level data through Tapistro’s enrichment engine (20+ data points) :

  • Emails (work + personal)

  • LinkedIn URLs

  • Direct dials

  • Company size, industry, revenue, tech stack, HQ

  • and others

🧠 Objective: Build sales-ready profiles with verified contact & firmographic data.


🧠 STEP 6

Buying Group Expansion

Expand the scope within engaged accounts to build a more complete buying committee:

  • Find additional team members from same function or adjacent roles.

  • Use title matching and role segmentation logic to build multi-threaded lists.

🧠 Objective: Enable deep account expansion before outbound even starts.

Step 6: Activation

Activate in different channels

Trigger orchestrated, multi-channel actions based on rules or manual review:

  • 🔁Email: Launch hyper-personalized outbound using 20+ micro-segments

  • 📥 Route to AE/SDR via Slack, Teams or CRM

  • 🤖LinkedIn Automation: Automatically send connection + nurture sequences

  • 📞Calling: Activate high-touch calls for top-tier accounts

  • 📥List : Download the data as a list with engagement data enriched.

In Tapistro we define activation in Destinations. Follow these steps:

  1. Config Type: Select Destination.

  2. Destination: Choose the Destination for this journey via the list.
    Save your journey and review.
