Tapistro uses Connections to securely integrate with external tools and services to fetch information that is used during journey orchestration.
The Connections dashboard lists your existing Connections. You can edit or delete these from the dashboard.
You can create a new Connection to connect with a supported external tool or service. When creating a Connection, you authorize the secure access using an applicable authentication method.
To create a new connection, follow these steps:
Log into your Tapistro account and select Connections in the left sidebar.
Select New Connection in the upper-right area. Specify a name of the connection. You use this name for your own reference to identify the connection later.
Specify a source in the Type field from the list of supported external services. The authentication method is automatically selected as OAuth2 or API key, based on the source selection.
Provide authentication details. Provide API key pair or select the authorize button.
Ignore the other fields.
To edit a connection, hover the pointer over an existing connection, select the pencil icon, and follow the above steps. Recreate an existing connection if you re-generate the API key or rotate it.
You can securely connect external services with Tapistro, using the following methods:
OAuth2 authentication method.
API key that you generate in the service.
βNote: If you rotate your API key or generate a new one, recreate the connection.
For a detailed list, see Integrations to fetch and enrich your data.
In addition, we use a few more integrations internally to enrich our AI and lead-generation capabilities. These connections are directly managed within Tapistro and you don't have to add or authorize these.
