In Tapistro, a person is an individual who belongs to an account and acts on its behalf. A specific person can be a part of one Account only. A person is crucial to your GTM or sales process, and you target them with some form of outreach.
A list of persons that are relevant to you can come from two sources:
From outside Tapistro, say, from a third-party data source that you connect to Tapistro as a connection.
Within Tapistro, you can create a Persona that matches your specific criteria. For example, you can collect a list of all partners of a law firm in New York City that are willing to do pro bono work.
Understand the importance of persons and associated accounts
Persons are one of the main entities in Tapistro. A Persons Report provides insights into the intent signals that a person generates and its activations and outreach. In Tapistro, you get a unified person profile containing all signals, and outreach details.
Ideally, you want to activate most persons and convert most of the accounts that are reported in the Persons Report. To do so, you decide on the form of outreach you want to do for these persons. You define the rules of such an outreach when you create a Journey.
After your Journey is executed, you can get insights about the activation of a person. If a person doesn't get activated, you can also do a deep-dive analysis to understand the unexpected events in a Journey and the reason for lack of outreach or activation.
The Persons Report helps you do the following:
Consolidate the information that you have about a person of interest in one place.
Check the signals and activations information about each individual across your Tapistro account.
Check the event that led to activation and its details.
Understand the interests and behavior of a person of interest.
Deep-dive into an Accounts report that is associated with a Person listed in this report.
View Persons Report
To view the Persons Report, go to your Tapistro account and select Persons from the left sidebar. To zero in on a specific person of interest, you can use the following ways to filter.
A: Select which columns to view for each person.
B: Use the full-text search from the search field at the top.
C: Filter based on the activation status of the person.
D: Timeline-based filter to view results. You can use this filter by itself or use it with a search.
E: Filter persons for whom only a signal was received or those who got activated. You can use this filter on its own or combine it with other filters. If a signal is not received for a person, Tapistro can't capture it, and the person of interest is not shown in this report. Only those persons for whom a signal is received or those who are activated are shown in this report.
F: Download the entire report as a CSV file.
G: View the report in full screen.
Filter Persons Report
More filters let you filter the displayed results based on,
Signal Received: Use this filter to find persons for whom a signal is received during a predefined time range.
Activated: Use this filter to find persons who were activated or reached out to during a predefined time range.
Sources: Use this filter to find persons who were sourced from a specific source. You can select one source at a time from the list of all the Sources available in your account.
Journey: Use this filter to find persons who are part of a specific journey. You can select one journey at a time from the list of all the journeys created in your account.
Roles: Use this filter to find persons with a specific role.
View signals and activation details of a Person
Over a period of time, multiple signals may be received for a person and multiple activations and outreach can happen to a person. To view all such details for a specific person, follow these steps:
To view the Persons Report, go to your Tapistro account and select Persons from the left sidebar.
Filter the displayed results and locate the required person's name. Select their name to open the details.
The Summary tab displays a rich summary of the person. Information of interest may include contact information, Destinations, Journeys a person is part of, and details fetched by one or more Sources.
The Signals tab displays all available signals for the person. You can filter signals by time range, signal source, and processing status. The signal details link provides a detailed report for each signal.
The Activations tab displays all the instances when Tapistro reached out to the person.
View the Account Report of an account associated with a person
You can quickly switch from the report of one individual to the report of the entire account that the individual is associated with. To do so, click on the Account listed in the Accounts Name column adjacent to the Person Details column. This report is the same as the one that you see in the Accounts Report.
