A target persona helps Sales and GTM folks focus their outreach to accounts that have high relevance to their business needs. By defining clear context, you reduce effort and noise while improving qualification accuracy and prospecting signals.
Tapistro lets you predefine your target personas as standalone entities, that are modular and reusable. You can define personas once and use those across different outreach journeys. In the Tapistro UI, you see Personas as a dedicated option in the left sidebar. The UI lists all the available personas that your org members created in Tapistro.
You create personas to collate a list of desired criteria that will generate targeted leads when orchestrated using a journey. The following specific filters help you target with precision without having to define every job title variation. you can ensure the following using a persona definition:
Fetch people with valid email IDs or, optionally, it uses personal emails if the work email is not available.
Find specific professionals using the values that you provide in the following fields:
Titles or designations.
Any keywords that you provide.
Seniority levels, such as C-Suite, VP, Partner, Director, and more.
Departments, such as Finance, Legal, Media, Engineering, and so on.
Limit the search to individuals in specific Geos or countries.
Adhere to any exclusions that you may provide.

To create a new Persona, follow these steps:
Log in to your Tapistro account and select Personas from the left sidebar.
Select Create Persona. Specify a logical name to search for or to identify the persona later.
Let the value of the maximum number of persons that this persona collates.
Optionally, select valid email only option to identify leads with valid emails.
Add one or more Roles to define titles or keywords using which the system identified the leads.
In the Titles field, provide approximate matches for a person's title.
In the Keywords field, provide exact words that must be present in a person's profile.
Optionally, select one or more countries as a location to collate persons from a specific geography.
Optionally, in the Exclusions field, provide exact words that must not be present in a person's profile.
Tip: Sometimes reaching out to new professionals who've recently joined in a new organization can be helpful for your targeting. To find such professionals, use the field maximum days in a role and mention the number of days that a person has spent in a role.
Modify an existing Persona
You can modify an existing persona to add the above details. Hover over an existing Persona and click the pencil icon to edit it. You can also tweak the filters by removing an existing role and adding a new role.
