Buying research starts long before anyone lands on your site. Offsite intent signals show you which accounts and people are researching your space right now, so your Journeys can act while the interest is live instead of weeks later.
Tapistro supports two offsite intent sources, and both operate at the person level and the account level: Nyne (interest-domain intent) and Delivr (keyword intent).
The two intent sources
Nyne, interest-domain offsite intent. Matches based on searches done for an interest domain, and ranks the person or account signals against your ICP company domain. It answers: who is researching this space, and how well do they fit my ICP?
Delivr, offsite keyword intent. Finds offsite intent based on the keywords you add, and returns both account-level and person-level intent. It answers: which accounts and people are active on the keywords I care about?
Why use intent signals
Intent tells you who is in-market before they ever talk to you. Instead of working a static list, your Journey starts from accounts and people who are actively searching, each with an intent score, a reason, and a latest interest date attached.
Prioritize by score- Each signal carries an intent score, so you can branch persons or accounts into segments by score level and route high-intent records to faster, more direct plays.
Personalize with the reason- Signals include the topic or fit reason behind the score. Use it in personalized outreach so the first touch reflects what the prospect is actually researching.
Act on recency- The latest interest date tells you how fresh the research is, so Activation happens while the interest is still live.
When to use each source
Use Nyne when your starting point is a domain- You want to find everyone researching a specific company's space, most often a competitor, and rank them by how well they fit your ICP. This makes it a fit for competitive plays and for building a pipeline of in-market accounts scored against your ICP.
Use Delivr.ai when your starting point is a set of topics- You know the keywords that map to your category or campaign, and you want the accounts and people active on them, with thresholds for minimum intent score and how many distinct people at an account are showing intent.
Set up Nyne (interest-domain intent)
On the Journey Canvas, add a Source step and set the Data Provider to
Nyne Intent.Set Max Persons Per Run- This limits how many persons are fetched per run. If left empty, the run may exhaust a high number of credits depending on the defined filters.
Under Intent Search Criteria, enter the Interest Company Domain. This is the domain you want to find research affinity for, for example a competitor's domain.
Enter your ICP Company Domain- Nyne ranks the matched persons and accounts against this domain, so results come back ordered by ICP fit, not just by search activity.
Set up Delivr (keyword intent)
On the Journey Canvas, add a Source step with Account level or person level intent as your source. This is powered by Delivr.ai.
Add your Intent Topics- You can select up to 25 topics. Include close keyword variants and competitor brand names, for example
ABM software,account-based marketing platform, and the names of the tools you displace.Set Minimum Intent- Only accounts at or above this intent score are ingested. If left empty, all scored accounts are ingested.
Set Min People Count- Only accounts where at least this many distinct people show intent on a topic are ingested. If left empty, every matching account is ingested, same as a value of 1.
Set Max Accounts Per Run- This limits how many accounts are fetched per run. If left empty, the run may exhaust a high number of credits depending on the defined filters.
For person-level intent, Delivr.ai also supports filters on company revenue range, company industry, employee count, job title, department, and seniority level, along with a minimum intent score.
What each Signal contains
Nyne Signals include the intent score, the score reason, the signal count, the latest interest date, a fit score, and person details such as name, title, email, LinkedIn URL, and the associated account.
Delivr.ai Signals include the intent score, the score reason (the matched topic and its intensity), the signal count, the latest interest date, and the account domain. Account signals carry company details such as employee range and revenue. Person signals add job title and industry.
Tips
Keep Intent keywords campaign specific where possible. A tight keyword set tied to one campaign produces cleaner matches than a broad catch-all list.
Use a look back window of 14 days on Intent (Delivr.ai). Older intent is stale by the time outreach lands.
Branch on intent score- Both sources return a score you can use to split persons or accounts into segments, so each score level gets its own play.
Use the signal details in personalized outreach. The score reason and matched topic tell you what the prospect is researching, so the first touch can reference it directly.
