Use Web News Search to Source Accounts from Real-Time Signals

Find news and accounts behind them and route them directly into Journeys.

Updated yesterday

The best time to reach a prospect is when something has just changed for them. A funding round closed. A new market entered. A key hire made. These moments are public, time-sensitive, and on the web. The challenge is catching them before the window closes.

Web News Search lets you describe what you are looking for in plain language and Tapistro finds the accounts behind the news. It matches your query against real-time web signals and returns a list of companies that fit, each enriched with the news title, source, and reasoning for the match. From there, accounts flow directly into a Journey for outreach while the signal is still fresh with no export or spreadsheet in between.

Signal types you can monitor:

  • Fundraising announcements (seed through IPO)

  • Hiring surges or key role openings

  • Product launches or new market entries

  • Executive moves

  • Regulatory changes affecting your ICP

  • Partnership or customer win announcements

Tips:

  • Write your query the way you would describe the trigger to a colleague. Natural language works better than keyword strings. For example, "SaaS companies that recently raised a Series B and are hiring sales leaders" outperforms "Series B SaaS hiring".

  • Each result includes the source article and Tapistro's reasoning for the match. If results are off-target, use that reasoning to refine the query.

  • Run multiple Journeys with different queries to cover different ICP segments or trigger types simultaneously. Tapistro will help in building a unified profile for multi signals accounts.
