You can build in Tapistro by describing what you want to Claude. Claude connects to your Tapistro account through the Tapistro connector, a remote MCP connection. Once it's connected, Claude can create and edit the building blocks of a Journey for you. It shows you what it plans to save before saving anything.
Before you begin
You need a Tapistro account.
You need a Claude account on the Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan. All of them support custom connectors.
On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, only workspace Owners can add custom connectors. If you don't see the option, ask your Claude workspace Owner to add the connector.
Add the Tapistro connector
In Claude, open the connector settings.
Click +, then click Add custom connector.
Paste this server URL:
https://mcp.tapistro.com/mcp
Sign in with your Tapistro account when prompted.
In the chat where you're building, make sure the Tapistro connector is turned on.

Choose a naming convention first
Every prompt asks you to name what you create. Pick one naming convention before you build, then use it for every Source, Persona, AI Agent, Destination and Journey. When everything tied to a campaign shares a pattern, you can filter, compare and audit it as a set in your reports.
A good convention combines a date or quarter, the campaign or play, and what the item does. For example:

In the prompts in this collection, [your name for this ...] marks where your name goes.
Ask Claude to preview and confirm
Every prompt in this collection ends with a request like "show me the config and wait for my OK." Keep that line in your prompts. It lets you check the result before Claude saves anything to your account.
Note: Claude can create and edit Sources but can't upload files. To use a CSV, upload the file in the Tapistro UI.
