Hiring Manager Search--Find the Correct One for Each Job Signal

Tapistro's AI can infer the correct hiring manager for each job signal and automatically find those without static title lists.

Updated yesterday

In the past, finding a good hiring manager meant picking a fixed set of titles or criteria and running similar searches across every job signal. However, the hiring manager for a Demand Gen role is not the same person as the one for a SalesOps role. It means that static title lists end up with the wrong person most of the time, and in the past, there wasn't an efficient way to address it without running separate campaigns for each role type.

With Tapistro, it works better now. Tapistro's AI reads each job posting, infers the correct hiring manager title for that specific role at that specific company, and searches for them using the "search from an account field" setting in the Persona. The inferred title is stored on each account, and a dynamic search runs each time the Journey executes.

How it works

  • Job signal is received

A job posting enters the Journey as a signal - from Jobs Web Search or another hiring-based source.

  • Tap AI agent reads and decodes the posting

Create a Computed AI Agent. Tapistro's AI agent reads the job content and stores the hiring manager title for all the roles in target accounts into an account field variable.

  • Title is stored on the account

The inferred hiring manager title is written back to an account field, making it available for downstream steps in the Journey.

  • Persona searches from that field

The Persona is configured to use "search from an account field." At execution time, it reads the stored title and finds the matching person at that account.

  • Account is routed to outreach

The right hiring manager - inferred per role, found per company is passed into outreach with the context of the specific job signal baked in.

To enable this, open the Persona step in your Journey and set the search mode to search from an account field. Point it to the field where the AI-inferred hiring manager title is stored.

Tips: Setting up the Persona correctly

  • Make sure the account field storing the inferred title is consistently populated before the Persona step runs. Check the field mapping in your Journey's enrichment steps.

  • Test with a small batch first to confirm the inferred titles are resolving to the right people before scaling the Journey.
