How teams use Smartlead with Tapistro
Teams running cold email through Smartlead use Tapistro to decide who goes into a campaign and when. A Journey qualifies prospects using your signals, filters, and AI Agents, then adds them to the right Smartlead campaign automatically. No list building, no CSV exports, no manual uploads between qualification and outreach.
Smartlead is available in Tapistro as a Destination, so the handoff happens as the final step of a Journey.
Connect Smartlead
Go to Connections in Tapistro and select Smartlead.
Paste your Smartlead API key.
Save the connection. Tapistro validates the key by checking access to your Smartlead campaigns, so an invalid key is caught at setup.
Add prospects to a Smartlead campaign from a Journey
Open your Journey and add a Destination step.
Select Smartlead.
Pick the campaign from the dropdown. Tapistro fetches your campaign list live from Smartlead, so you don't need to copy campaign IDs.
When the Journey runs, every person who reaches the Destination step is added as a lead to the selected Smartlead campaign, and your Smartlead sequence takes over from there.
